The Beauty Culture Instructor Course is a 1000-hour program that is normally completed during a 9-12 month time period. Full time students attend a minimum of 30 hours a week and part time student attend a minimum of 25 hours a week. During this 1000-hour program, you will learn the basic principles of teaching which include basic learning styles & principles, effective classroom management, program development & lesson planning, and state laws. After completing this course, you will be eligible to take your state board exam and become a licensed beauty culture instructor in the state of Indiana.
